I’ve been a run coach for several years now and I am amazed at what the human spirit is capable of. I’ve coached athletes through events that they never thought possible. That’s the great thing about hiring a coach; you take those internal desires, and you project them outward onto someone who understands what you need to do to accomplish said goal. You also take the fear, doubt, and negativity out of your head and give it a voice. Once it has a voice, you learn how to control it. Once you learn control, you can master any task that is in front of you.
I also know that training is rough on the body. I know that athletes are incredibly stubborn. I know that we are guilty of focusing on the plan, letting other types of beneficial cross training fall to the side. I know that this can lead to injury- either nagging or season ending. My answer has never been to stop. Over the years, I’ve utilized massage, not only to heal injury, but to figure out why it occurs in the first place. My faith in this avenue led me to pursue my LMT certification. I offer my massage services to anyone who wants to be a healthier version of themselves. Our bodies were made to move and my goal is to make movement more accessible to anyone, not just athletes. Contact me today to schedule a massage customized to meet your specific needs.

I love all things endurance sports and outdoor ultra-adventures. Throughout the last 15 years I have completed a multitude of triathlons, cycling events, and running races, including several Ironman’s & 100 mile ultra-trail marathons. In 2015 I earned my RRCA Coaching certification and founded Compass Endurance Coaching LLC. It was my way of sharing my passion and experience in endurance sports to help others achieve their goals.
Over the last 18 months, Rachel and I have been working to bring her massage services under the Compass umbrella. In 2021 we rebranded the business to Compass Massage & Endurance. I am so excited for Rachel and the help she is able to provide for folks! She has a true passion for massage & wellness.
For 2022 I will be transitioning from head coach, to more of a business manager role. I will still be coaching runners, but only a very limited number of athletes. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you’re interested in one-on-one coaching or have questions; I would love to do what I can to help you out.
I am also excited to get back to racing more in 2022. I have some big goals for winter and spring, peaking for the Mohican 100 trail race in June. Hope to see you on the trails.
